Tim Webster embraces next chapter as Kintura’s sole CEO

Kintura is entering an exciting new season of leadership as Tim Webster steps into his role as the organization’s sole Chief Executive Officer following the retirement of co-CEO Steve Fleming. Previously serving as a co-CEO, Tim now leads Kintura forward with a steady, mission-driven approach and a clear focus on strengthening what makes Kintura exceptional: its people, culture and commitment to enriching lives.

With 32 years of experience within the organization, Tim brings both deep institutional knowledge and a strong foundation in stewardship. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) by training, he spent years serving in finance leadership roles that shaped his ability to plan strategically, lead responsibly and support long-term sustainability. That financial background continues to strengthen his leadership today, helping ensure Kintura can grow with intention while staying grounded in what matters most.

As Kintura continues to evolve, Tim’s message is centered on unity, forward momentum and growth. He believes Kintura’s future will be defined not only by progress, but also by the way the organization supports residents, team members and one another through every step of the journey.

“By building a strong culture across our communities and team members — one rooted in care, support, and helping people thrive every day — we set ourselves up for lasting success and continued growth,” Tim said.

For Tim, culture is not just a value, it is a strategy. It is what builds trust across teams, strengthens communities and creates the kind of environment in which residents feel cared for and team members feel supported and proud of the work they do. As he looks ahead, Tim’s vision is grounded in protecting the heart of Kintura while continuing to move the organization forward with intention.

“This work is truly missional,” Tim said. “What’s shaped my leadership the most is being present in our communities — listening to residents and team members, learning from their feedback and taking their ideas seriously. The people who dedicate their lives to this work, and the residents who call our communities home, are the reason we keep improving every day.”

Over the next 12 to 18 months, Tim’s priorities include strengthening culture across the organization, exploring growth opportunities that align with Kintura’s values and continuing to invest in existing communities so they become stronger, not just bigger. His approach reflects a long-term mindset, one that values sustainability, excellence and the well-being of the people Kintura serves.

Over the course of his career, Tim has helped guide communities through seasons of meaningful growth and change. As former CEO of Presbyterian Homes — later rebranded as Brightspire — he played a key role in supporting the expansion of life plan communities River Landing at Sandy Ridge, Glenaire and Scotia Village. With decades of experience across both finance and operations, Tim brings a steady, well-rounded perspective and the proven leadership needed to move Kintura forward with confidence and care.

At the center of Tim’s leadership is a deep belief in the purpose behind the work.

As Kintura moves forward, Tim hopes residents and team members feel confident about what is ahead. He wants team members to know their work matters and that their dedication is the reason Kintura is positioned for continued strength and success.

“Thank you for all you do for Kintura,” Tim said, referring to everyone who works in the organization. “Kintura is poised for great things because of the great talents we have within our team.”
