Residents Get Creative at Well-Spring

At Well-Spring, creativity is taking center stage. The community’s on-site art studios are seeing more activity than ever thanks to the addition of Well-Spring’s first in-house art teacher.

Jennifer Donley, Well-Spring’s new Life Engagement Coordinator, is bringing fresh energy to the studios by leading the community’s first team member-taught art classes. With a strong background in the arts and a passion for teaching, she guides residents through watercolor, painting, drawing, pottery and other hands-on projects that help them explore their creative side in meaningful ways.

All of Jennifer’s classes are resident-inspired, and many rotate based on interest. When someone expresses curiosity about a new art form, Jennifer finds a way to bring it to life. It is a strong example of how Well-Spring listens to residents and creates a welcoming, pressure-free space with something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned crafters.

“You don’t have to be an artist to enjoy class. The benefit is in the process. These classes support social connection, brain health and emotional wellbeing, and they encourage residents to try something new,” Jennifer points out.

The arts studios are just one of the many amenities that make Well-Spring stand out. Residents have access to two creative spaces open daily and stocked with basic supplies, and many enjoy using the studios independently for quilting, painting and other creative projects.

Alongside the craft spaces, Well-Spring offers a fully equipped woodworking shop, a professional theater for plays, concerts, lectures and performances, a gym with an indoor pool and health and wellness classes, a popular dog park and more. Whether someone wants to experiment with art, stay active or explore new hobbies, Well-Spring provides countless ways for residents to learn, connect and feel engaged every day.

The arts and crafts classes are a great way for residents to make friends, try something new and feel involved. Since classes began, Jennifer has seen renewed energy in the studios and many new friendships formed through weekly sessions.

With creative energy flowing, a talented art teacher guiding the way and state-of-the-art amenities at every turn, Well-Spring continues to show residents – and future residents, too – the possibilities that come with living in a community designed for learning, connection and fun.
