Be the Solution!

Published: October 01, 2025

Well-Spring Solutions will soon host its 24th annual fundraiser – Be the Solution – at the Virginia Somerville Sutton Theatre at Well-Spring, A Life Plan Community. After several years of taking place at The Memory Care Center on Henry Street, this year’s event will be moved to Well-Spring, A Life Plan Community – a sister organization and major supporter.

Guests will enjoy light hors d’oeuvres, live musical talent and heartfelt words from speakers, all while community members and sponsors come together for a greater cause. Each year, Be the Solution unites families, supporters and partners who believe deeply in the mission of Well-Spring Solutions. Their generosity will ensure that families touched by a form of dementia have access to care, respite and resources when they need them most.

The funds raised will go directly to Well-Spring Solutions’ scholarship program, which provides vital support for families who could not otherwise afford services. For those families, the generosity of our community will be a tremendous blessing. It will allow loved ones to spend the day in a safe and engaging environment surrounded by compassionate care, while giving caregivers the gift of respite — time to rest, recharge or simply manage the demands of daily life. Every dollar raised will ensure that more families can access this lifeline of support when they need it most.

“At Well-Spring Solutions, we recognize that many families have cared for loved ones for years and face uncertain futures. When someone reaches out, they’re often ready to begin services immediately — and without donor support, they could face waits of a year or more,” said Anita Brock-Carter, Executive Director of Memory Care Services. She explains that donations bridge the gap, covering the difference between reimbursement rates and the true cost of care.

“Simply put, we won’t be able to do this work without the generous support of our donors.”
